Renting Kiddie Mechanical Rides

Full Size Kiddie Rides run $2000-5000 each when booked with the Major Carnival Amusement Rides. They don’t often go out alone, but if available, a single Full Size Kiddie Ride runs $3175-5500, plus most need a special generator that runs $675.

Bigger Mechanical Rides for Kids

Kiddie Roller-Coaster – There are several versions of this ride with different names and assorted animal heads: the Go-Gator, the Moat Monster, the Clatterpillar, and the Dragon-Wagon. A thrilling ride for children as they go up and down on their own real roller-coaster! Seats 18 kids.  47′ long x 52′ wide. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3600-5000.

The Orient Express Kiddie Roller Coaster – this extra big version of the Kiddie Roller Coaster can also hold several adults riding along with their kids! Typically only booked with Major Rides. If available, it can sometimes be booked solo for $4000-5500 plus $675 for the generator.

Merry-Go-Round or Carousel
(typically 20 Horse) – These mid-sized Carousels for kids up to 10 yrs old have been a favorite for generations, providing nostalgic sights and sounds! 28′ -30′ circle. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $4500-5500.

Some of the bigger, pricier models (like the one pictured) can also hold a couple of smaller adults up to 200 lbs.

Larger 3-Abreast and 4-Abreast models may also be available, but they require 2 or 4 days for assembly, and run $10,000-12,000 for the 3-Abreast, or more than $20,000 for the largest version.

 


Hampton Cars, Motorcycles, Antique Cars, Moon Buggies, Trucks – The traditional children’s ride where they choose a colorful automobile or motorcycle and then they pretend to drive!  Most of them need a 32′ circle. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3600-5000.

Helicopter Ride or Skyfighters – Kids go up in the air and ‘fly’ their own helicopter or jet around in a circle. There are 6 jets, each holding 2-4 kids.  35′ circle. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3500-5000.

Bear Affair, Dizzy Dragons, Spinning Apples, Berry-Go-Round Ride, Neon Ice Cream Buckets – These are all cute variations of the classic tubs or tea cups ride, where the kids ride around inside them. Adults can ride too!  Each ride typically holds up to 24 riders at a time.  30-35′ circle. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3500-5000.

Old-Fashioned Tea Cups –  The classic ride, in a children’s size! There are 6 colorful cups sitting on saucers, spinning around the teapot. Each cup holds 3-4 kids (or 2 adults + 1 kid) for up to 24 kids per ride (up to 720/hr).  30′ circle.  Note: This ride is popular and has limited availability since it is often booked up a year or more in advance. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3500-5000.

swing-kiddierKiddie Swing Chairs – This colorful smaller sized version of the popular adult Swing Chair ride has 20 seats. With prior arrangement, this ride can be disassembled and walked in to an event. Needs a 30-35′ circle. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3500-5000.

 

 

 

 

Spider Mania –  like a Sizzler, this wacky kiddie version has 3 arms, each with 8 hanging buckets that seat 1-2 kids, for a total of 24-48 flying riders!  35′ circle. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $4000-5500.

Kiddie Scrambler – A kid-sized version of the ever-popular spinning Scrambler or Sizzler ride!  It’s a thrilling ride for the younger children as it travels in a star-like figure. Up to 400 rides/per hour!  30′ x 30′. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $4000-5500.

 

 

 

Bumble Bees – The Bumble Bees fly up and down as they buzz around their hive. A control bar in each bee allows the kids to fly higher or lower, as they wish.  Eight colorful bees can seat an adult and a child, or three children, for up to 24 passengers per ride.  Needs a 38′ diameter. Typically booked with Major Rides. If available, can be booked solo for $3500-5000.
